Association DEMAS joins statement of the Human Rights and Democracy Network (HRDN) on the proposed Action Plan on Democracy and Human Rights for 2020-2024, which has been submitted to the Council for consideration and adoption.
The HRDN welcomed the renewed attention and stated commitment by the European Union to further advancing the protection and promotion of human rights and democracy in its foreign policy. However, it raised several recommendations and comments to the current text of the proposed Action Plan, which were submitted to concerned Council’s working groups.
