We would like to invite you to the 10th edition of the human rights documentary film festival One World in Brussels.
The festival will take place from 18th to 27th April 2016 and offer 14 new documentary films followed by panel discussions with film directors, politicians, human rights activists, international NGO leaders and the laureates of Sakharov Prize. Brussels audience will have a chance to see the best films of the International One World Film Festival which was held in March 2016 in Prague.
The festival will be opened by a screening of No Man Is an Island, that will be followed by a discussion with Tim de Keersmaecker, the director of the film. The evening will be opened by the speech of Elmar Brok, President of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the European Parliament, and Šimon Pánek, director of People in Need. Guests will be served a glass of wine after the ceremony.
Other screenings take place at the European Parliament, Czech Permanent Representation, Italian Culture Institute, BOZAR Centre for Fine Arts and Norway House.
