Invitation: German and Czech Experience with Radicalization

AMO in cooperation with the Heinrich Böll Foundation Prague would cordially like to invite you to a debate on German and Czech experience with radicalization called “Can We Fight Back Against Radicalization? German and Czech Experience”.

What is radicalization and how it is defined by experts on violent extremism prevention? What role do ideology and religion play in the process of radicalization? Are early identification and prevention possible?
Two forms of radicalization will be discussed during the debate: right-wing and Islamist, their shape, differences, and forms of their prevention.

The debate takes place on Friday, April 28 between 5pm and 7pm at Langhans – People in Need premises (Vodičkova 37, Prague). Our speakers include Jan Charvát (FSV, UK), Julia Reinelt (Violence Prevention Network), and Zora Hesová (AMO), who chairs the debate.

The event is held in English without interpretation.
