From September 8 to October 6 hosts the DEMAS Secretariat two young researchers from Kosovo who won a one-month internship in DEMAS and its member organizations. The topic stays the same with this year’s theme of the Forum 2000 Annual Conference: Societies in Transition. The objective of the internship is to familiarize young researchers with Czech think-tanks and organizing an international conference, as well as teach them how to conduct a research, to process and analyse collected data and write a policy paper. During the internship meetings with interesting people from Czech and international NGOs, donors, staff of ministries and universities are scheduled. Both interns will also present their lecturing on the transformation in the Western Balkans at the Masaryk University in Brno and Palacky University in Olomouc. The research stay will be closed by writing policy papers reflecting the national aspects in transitional processes in the Balkans.
