Transparency International Manifesto to promote independent justice and judicial system

Justice and the judicial system in the Czech Republic must operate independently, without any political pressures and without any interference to the current cases. That is why Transparency wants the government not to dismiss the Supreme Public Prosecutor and to set clear rules for appointing judicial officers. On 29 April, thousands of people came out on to the streets all over the Czech Republic to express their opinion and their disagreement with the current political events and the state of corruption in the country.

You can find the whole text of the manifesto as well as further articles related to the current developments of the filed criminal complaint against the president’s chancellor Vratislav Mynář.
