Registration Now Open for Non-profit Organizations for 2014 NGO Market

Starting on Monday, February 3, non-profit organizations can register to participate in the 2014 NGO Market. The 15th annual non-profit fair will take place in the National Technical Library on Friday, April 25, 2014.

At this year’s fair, visitors will have a chance to get acquainted with work of more than 200 NGOs from both the Czech Republic and abroad, discovering a number of pressing problems and topics for NGO’s. The presentation part of the fair will be complemented by a varied accompanying program including lectures, workshops, performances, documentary screenings, and many other interesting activities. This year, a special focus will be placed on education and its importance for the civil sector.

The fair will include a professional program dedicated to NGO representatives, for whom we are also preparing other special events, which will precede the NGO Market. On Thursday, April 24, the day before the fair, an international conference will be held and a few workshops are planned to take place during the previous weeks. One of them will focus on the aims of NGOs exhibiting at the NGO Market and their expectations of their participation.

Online registration for NGOs opened on February 3 at 10.00. Due to the limited number of places and what is traditionally an overwhelming interest to participate, we recommend that organizations do not delay registration. More information for NGOs about participation at the fair and how to register can be found here.

More information about the program and news from this year’s fair is available in our first newsletter (in Czech only).
