PASOS and EUROPEUM would like to invite you to a lunch seminar debate in Prague on Tuesday 29 June 2010 (please note this is a re-scheduled event after the cancellation of the event due to have taken place on 23 June), where Polish and Czech analysts will examine current political developments in Poland and the Czech Republic one year after the 2009 European Parliament elections.

One year after the last elections to the European Parliament, this debate will focus on the issue of the parliament’s achievements over the past year, and its future challenges. Particular attention will be given to the Lisbon Treaty changes. Moreover, the experts will discuss the future of the European Parliament from the perspective of current political developments after the Czech Republic’s general election in May 2010 and the Polish Presidential election first-round vote on 20 June 2010.
