Burma Days in Prague? Say, one afternoon at least!

Public debate with representatives of NGOs on main challenges and pains of civil society in Myanmar

Republic of the Union of Myanmar (Burma) is undergoing hectic transformation since 2015 (and before). Complexities of fast development have their impact on vibrant civil society in multi-national country. Although the relation between the Czech Republic and Myanmar are surprisingly intense, and we are also getting some news from the Republic, no media exchange can level up to personal dialogue, therefore we invite you to meet civic activists and experts from Myanmar.

Interested in civic rights, ecological issues, and social collaboration or sate economy aspects of Myanmar? Feel cordially invited to talk with guests:

Ye Lin Myint, executive manager Myanmar Alliance for Transparency and Accountability

Moe Moe Tun, economic analyst, founder of Citizen Action
for Transparency

Kyaw Thu, founder and activist of Paung Ku organization
